Wildflower Meadows

Each spring we plant wild flowers on the hilly area near Leopold Road, this needs some tending and maintainance throughout the summer

Angela's Flower Beds

Each spring and summer we tend to the beds near the cafe and dog free area

"The Pod" Community Garden

Regular planing and maintainence sessions through the year

Wellington Bomber Memorial

Keeping the stone clean and adjacent planting tidy

The Perennial Beds

Sessions every 4-6 weeks for tidying, deadheading, and cutting back

The Pond & Wildlife Area

Work involves cutting back vegetation in Autumn/Winter and raking cut material

Creature Seekers Wildlife Trail

From early June to mid-July, you can follow the free Creature Seekers wildlife trail around the park. Find all six wooden trail signs featuring wonderful insects which can be found locally in various habitats. Visit www.creature-seekers.com to see the trail map, and to enter in each sign’s special “codeword”. You’ll unlock detailed artwork, fact-files about each insect and how you can help them thrive, plus a quiz if you find them all! Everyone welcome!
